I really like it, because he gets into details of his philosophies
and how he got rich. He discusses the difference between
what he teaches (creative real estate investing) and
traditional real estate investing (using banks, needing 20% down, etc).

Fit To Wealth Challenge – T25 – Week 4


I am documenting my “fit to wealth” challenge here on my wealth site. I truly believe there’s a link between being super successful and fit.



How Do I feel?…

This week (April 21, 2014 – April 27, 2014)…

Ok, feel very good. Total lost almost 4 pounds – so about 1 pound per week.

As I have previously noted, I have just bought a new home that is gorgeous but needs a ton of cosmetic work. I have spent this entire week going from work to the new house to paint the floors (see how i did it here).

Since the new house doesn’t have internet yet, I could not access my T25 workouts. So I took my Xoom tablet with me and did Jillian most of the week. The important not here being that I DID NOT stop working out! Yesterday, I was back to my old house and could do the Sunday Stretch exercise.

Ending on a Positive Note…

Although, I was forced to stray away from the T25 Alpha schedule a bit, I did not stop working out. I did Jillian Michael’s 30-Day Shred instead.

Still going strong! I love how the time flies with T25.

This is very little effort in terms of making time, so I’m still there.

How Do I feel?…

This week (April 14, 2014 – April 20, 2014)…

Ok, I feel great! I have seen and felt massive progress.

    • 4/15/14 (Wed): 17 Days later, I could finally keep up with Shaun T! I kept up with about 50% of the work outs – barely did any modifications  for Speed 1.0.
    • 4/16/14 (Thurs): Got to work and caught a glimpse in the mirror and noticed a difference in the way my clothes fit. I look thinner! Interesting fact  is that I am a bit on the bloated side this week, but that didn’t matter?!

Ending on a Positive Note…

I have not strayed away from the T25 Alpha schedule.

Still going strong! I love how the time flies with T25.

No Money Down Mortgage Options

Here are some highlights…

  • “Generally speaking, to get maximum financing on typical new home purchases, applicants should have a credit score of 580 or better,” explains the FHA website.
  • Another benefit of an FHA mortgage is that the mortgage is assumable. If you decide to sell the house, the buyer can simply take over the existing mortgage as opposed to applying for a new one.
  • As you can see, while FHA mortgages are a great alternative if you want to buy a house but can’t afford a massive down payment, they present their own unique set of qualities, one of which is that they’re more expensive as a result of the insurance.

This week (April 7, 2014 – April 13, 2014)…

Ok, I feel great – honestly! I feel more flexible and fit.

How Much Weight Have I Lost?…

I have only lost 2 pounds but that’s 1 pound per week! A great, healthy way to lose
weight to ensure long term maintainance!

I am NOT doubling up on Fridays, since I only have time for one workout. Although,
the first week I did the second workout from Friday (the double session) on Saturday. So the first week, I didn’t take a break.

This week, I didn’t do Saturday T25 workout. I am moving into our new home, so with
moving and running after 4 energetic kids – I have had exercise. I did do Sunday
Stretch Day! I did it in my new poolhouse facing the water in the pond behind the
house. It was so inspiring and peaceful.

Fit To Wealth Challenge – T25 – Week 1

The Low Down…

WOW! I am so sore. I actually am limping when I stand up. I have not exercised like this since 2009 (30 Day Shred).

The first week wasn’t bad. There are some positions that remind me of dancing, and I was quickly reminded that I haven’t danced in 10 years.

The Good…

Time really does fly by. Shaun T does a great job motivating you and sticking to the clock on the screen.

Thank goodness Shaun T has a modified version of almost every single move. If you are as out of shape as me, you will need it! It’s very helpful to try his moves first and if you can’t keep up, then switch over to the modified move.

I love the calendar they provide – here is a quick view. You can indicate directly on it if the day’s exercise was hard or if you nailed it. Yup, I’m barely keeping up and still learning the moves.

It was nice to have Saturday off. I like that alot!

Sunday stretch exercise is doable. I could keep up with that mostly.

The Bad…

You can’t always see what the modified version of the move is. It’s a woman doing these moves, and they don’t do a good job keeping the camera on her. So at times, I found myself waiting for her to pop back on the screen. I wish they did a split screen – one showing Shaun T and one showing the lady doing the modified version.

Fridays is not actually just 25 minutes. It’s called a double day, so it’s 2 workouts that day (each 25). I don’t like that, since I don’thave time to do more than 25. Shaun T…you said this was just 25 minutes? But Fridays you want 50 minutes? Come on now…that doesn’t seem right. I only did one and didn’t double up.

I am still very interested and engaged. There are 5 workouts in Alpha and every day it’s something different than the previous day. This is why it keeps things interesting.
